Rex Materials specializes in the design and manufacture of custom engineered high temperature ceramic fiber heating elements for applications up to 2200 °F and insulation components, board and blanket for furnace and kiln applications up to 3000 °F. Pyrolite®, our specialty formulated high temperature family of ceramic fiber insulation materials, is used to make precise heating elements, components and boards that are used in a variety of electrical and gas fired furnace and kiln applications. We serve many industrial, commercial and residential equipment manufacturers.

Pyrolite® electrical heating elements come as panels, modules or cylinders designed to meet your application. They can achieve temperatures up to 2200 °F depending on element design and material. Rex Materials has an experienced staff of technical specialists to assist you in designing the right heater for your application.

Pyrolite® insulation linings increase the efficiency of your furnace. Heating elements and linings have been successfully used in carburizing, nitrogen and vacuum atmospheres.
